Sabrina Carpenter Recruits Madelyn Cline & Margaret Qualley for ‘House Tour’ Video: Watch a Teaser

Take your shoes off: It’s time for a house tour.

On Wednesday (April 1), Sabrina Carpenter shared a surprise teaser for the upcoming music video for her Billboard Hot 100 hit “House Tour,” from her Billboard 200-topping album Man’s Best Friend. She also made sure to let us know that the full video will premiere on Monday.

In a snippet shared to Instagram, Carpenter drives a pink van, accompanied by actresses Margaret Qualley (who’s coincidentally married to “House Tour” producer Jack Antonoff) and Madelyn Cline. While their official destination is unknown, fans can deduce from the snippet that the trio are up to no good. As they drive, a voice on the radio warns listeners to lock their doors.

“It’s a not-so-pretty evening on Pretty Girl Avenue,” the radio announcer says. “Reports of robbery and theft are sweeping the neighborhood.”

Who are the suspects of these terrible crimes? “Three young women in minimal clothes” who are “armed and dangerous.”

Just as the announcer finishes his warning, the three stars pull up to their destination, Carpenter puts the car in park and Cline asks a very important question: “Should we go in the backdoor?”

“No,” Qualley and Carpenter immediately respond. Fans would recognize the moment as a cheeky reference to the “House Tour” chorus, “I just want you to come inside/ But never enter through the backdoor.”

Though she dropped the preview on April Fool’s Day, Carpenter assured fans that this is not a prank. “No joke…house tour video this Monday,” the singer wrote in her Instagram caption.

The music video comes just in time for the first of Carpenter’s two headlining performances at Coachella, starting Friday, April 10. Watch the full “House Tour” teaser below.
