Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh makes surprise cameo in Dayoung’s ‘What’s a Girl to Do’ music video

Shiloh Jolie has made a surprise appearance in Dayoung’s upcoming music video.

The 19-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt appeared in a teaser shared by the K-Pop singer on Thursday (April 2) for her upcoming video ‘What’s a Girl to Do’, which is set for release on April 7.

Shiloh briefly appears in the 30-second clip in a choreographed sequence, where multiple dancers surround Dayoung as a beat plays in the background.

According to a representative from Starship Entertainment, Shiloh was cast as part of an “open audition”, and her involvement was not a PR stunt, per Maeil Business Newspaper Star Today.

“Shiloh was selected in the final round and ended up joining Dayoung’s music video,” the representative added. “Even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently.”

Shiloh, who is the third-eldest child of the former Hollywood couple, applied for a name change on her 18th birthday in 2024 to remove Pitt’s surname.

She filed the petition at the Los Angeles County Superior Court and as per law in California, publicly announced her decision to make the name change in a legal notice in the Los Angeles Times. Her lawyer later revealed the “painful events” that led to the name change.

The same year the couple reached a settlement in their divorce proceedings, eight years after Jolie filed to end their marriage.

The original divorce filing followed an alleged physical altercation on a private plane, with one of their children, Maddix, allegedly involved in the incident. Pitt was subject to a “child abuse investigation” in relation to the alleged incident, with the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services later clearing the actor of wrongdoing.
