A description promises that WILD HEARTS will lay out the “captivating journey into the group’s bold new era and celebrates the fans who helped make it possible. Featuring never-before-seen footage, EYEKONS fan videos, and intimate interviews from the group members, the film explores the powerful bond between KATSEYE and their global fandom.”

In addition, it promises to be a “love letter” to the band’s beloved EYEKONS fan group, revealing why “this group’s story is only just beginning.” The project promises to take EYEKONS along for the entire ride, from the intense pressure singers Daniela Avanzini, Yoonchae, Sophia Laforteza, Lara Raj, Megan Skinediel and currently on-hiatus member Manon Bannerman faced during their formation on the 2023 reality TV competition series Dream Academy — later chronicled on the Netflix series Pop Star Academy: Katseye — to their chart-topping global success. The film will reportedly take viewers through the “highs, setbacks, sacrifices and breakthrough moments” that helped the girl group blossom into global sensations.

“KATSEYE’s first-ever cinema event celebrates the passionate EYEKONS community that has embraced KATSEYE’s journey from the group’s formation to becoming one of pop’s most exciting new global acts,” said Trafalgar Releasing EVP of programming and content acquisitions Kymberli Frueh in a statement. “We are excited to bring the fandom together in theaters around the world for a shared, immersive experience.”

The film, directed by Nadia Hallgren (Becoming), is from the same team behind Pop Star Academy, with production by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures in partnership with HYBE X GEFFEN. Ticketing information for KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS is available here, with the official on-sale opening on July 15.

KATSEYE’s third EP, WILD, the follow-up to last year’s Beautiful Chaos EP, is due out on Aug. 14. So far this year, the group has released the Billboard Hot 100 No. 28 hit “Pinky Up,” as well as their collab with LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT, “Iconic By Mistake,” which topped out at No. 38 on the Hot 100.

KATSEYE is slated to launch its 2026 Wildworld global arena tour on Sept. 1 at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
