Victoria Monét Delivers Some ‘Juicy’ News: The Frequency of Love Tour & a New Song

Victoria Monét is making things “Juicy.” The Grammy-winning singer dropped her latest single Thursday (Sept. 10), giving fans another preview of her forthcoming album Frequency of Love — and she’s now sharing plans to take this new lush era on the road with the 27-date Frequency of Love Tour, which will kick off Oct. 27 in Raleigh, N.C., and keep her on the road through mid-December.

“Juicy” arrives as the follow-up to July’s “Reach Out,” her Kaytranada and D’Mile-produced single, and comes just a few weeks before Frequency of Love lands on Oct. 2 via Lovett Music/RCA Records.

The new song is part of somewhat of a busy stretch for the singer, especially this past summer. Her previous single, “Let Me,” hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart in June, giving Monét another chart-topping moment following the success of her Jaguar projects.

And if the new album has you wondering what it’ll sound like live, Monét won’t be keeping fans waiting long. The Frequency of Love Tour starts in North Carolina before moving through cities including New Orleans, Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, New York, D.C., Nashville, Austin, Phoenix and San Diego. She’ll play the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, Calif., on Dec. 8 before heading to Las Vegas, Seattle and more before wrapping up in San Francisco on Dec. 17.

Citi and Verizon presales begin Sept. 14 at 8 a.m. local time, with the artist presale following at 11 a.m. local time. General onsale begins Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. local time.

The tour announcement comes after Monét spent part of the summer playing some seriously big rooms. She joined Bruno Mars as a special guest on the European and U.K. leg of The Romantic Tour, performing in sold-out stadiums in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan and London.

But the Frequency of Love era isn’t only about the music. Monét is also launching the Frequency of Love Foundation, a youth-focused initiative designed to give children greater access to education surrounding food, agriculture, cooking and wellness. Fans heading to her shows will be able to add $1 to their ticket purchase to support the foundation’s community garden programs.
