The upcoming album, which includes recent singles ‘Wink Wink‘, ‘Rock Music’, and ‘SS26‘, is set to land on July 24, and you can pre-order it here. On Friday (July 10), Charli performed a handful of tracks from the LP live for the first time during an intimate pop-up gig at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg.

Charli opened the show with three live debuts from ‘Music, Fashion, Film’, playing ‘Playboy Bunny’, ‘SS26’, and ‘Camera’, and later played the unreleased track ‘Take Away the Music’ for the first time.

The gig also saw her joined by three guests, with Underscores being the first to take to the stage and perform their own track ‘Music’ with Charli. Later, Kim Petras appeared to perform ‘Jeep’, before Clairo closed out the surprises with a rendition of ‘Sofia’.

Charli also played some fan-favourites, including ‘Anthems’, ‘Pink Diamond’, ‘party 4 u’ and ‘Brat‘ track ‘Apple’, and closed out the show with ‘Wink Wink’ and ‘Rock Music’.

Earlier this week, Charli shared the tracklist for ‘Music, Fashion, Film‘, which includes a collaboration with film director David Cronenberg.

The album’s black and white cover is shot by Aidan Zamiri, and sees John Cale, Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese posing together.

In an interview this year, the artist told British Vogue some of the lyrics to ‘Rock Music’ – prompting speculation that the album would take a heavier direction.

Charli later clarified that she “never said” she was making a rock album, but previously made it clear that she was distancing herself from the sound of ‘Brat’, her seminal 2024 record.

This week, a series of album listening parties will be held across independent cinemas in cities across the globe.

Details and RSVP information can be found on her website here by clicking on the listed cities.

Her latest album listening parties announcement comes after she previously confirmed a North America tour for later this year last month. You can view the tour dates here and purchase any remaining tickets here.

Elsewhere, Charli and Madonna were recently spotted partying together in Paris despite the Queen of Pop’s “dancefloor is dead” comments.

She later opened up about hanging out with the Queen of Pop saying she “found it very inspiring”.

Charli also recently talked about her mental health struggles, saying she has difficulty coming to terms with online discourse about her.

“I am finding it tough to … I don’t know,” she said at the time. “I’m finding my emotions are very, very volatile at the minute, I’ll be honest.”

She will return to the stage to make her headline debut at Reading & Leeds in August, topping the festival bill alongside Fontaines D.C., Raye, Florence + The Machine, Dave and Chase & Status. Visit here for tickets.
