BTS kicked off their huge 2026 and 2027 world tour at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, and broke out tracks from ‘ARIRANG’ for the first time. Check out the footage and setlist below.
These shows are the first tour dates from the K-Pop giants in three years and will see them cover 34 regions with 79 live shows, marking their biggest tour yet.
Before kicking off, they held a free concert in Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, which was livestreamed to over 190 countries on Netflix and welcomed roughly 104,000 fans – breaking the record for the largest-ever public concert in South Korea.
That gig saw them break out new tracks from their new album, ‘ARIRANG’ for the first time, including ‘Body to Body’, ‘Hooligan’, ‘2.0’, and ‘Like Animals’, and RM performed seated for much of the set after spraining his ankle in rehearsals.
Now, the seven-piece have officially started their tour with the first of three nights planned at Goyang Stadium this month. Taking place last night (Thursday April 9), they opened the 23-song setlist with new tracks ‘Hooligans’ and ‘Aliens’, before dusting off ‘Run BTS’.
From there, they gave live debuts to ‘They Don’t Know ‘Bout Us’ and ‘Merry Go Round’ in the rest of the first act, and also performed tracks including ‘Like Animals’, ‘SWIM’, and ‘FAKE LOVE’.
Act two began with ‘2.0’ and ‘NORMAL’, before the band played ‘Not Today’ for the first time since 2021 and the Steve Aoki remix of ‘MIC Drop’.
After other favourites like ‘IDOL’ and ‘Body To Body’, BTS moved onto the encore, which included the first live performance of ‘Come Over’, ‘Please’ and ‘Into The Sun’, as well as the first rendition of ‘I Need U’ since 2021.

BTS continue their tour with two more dates at Goyang Stadium over the weekend (April 11 and 12) before playing two nights at Tokyo Dome in Bunkyo, Japan on April 17 and 18.
From there, North American tour dates commence from April 25 in Florida and run through to the end of May, and after that, BTS will head to Busan, South Korea, for two performances on June 12 and 13.
They’ll return to Europe later that month, with shows scheduled in Madrid, Brussels, Munich and Paris. There are currently only two UK dates on the group’s 2026/27 itinerary, taking place in London on July 6 and 7, 2026.
Other dates include more slots in North America, Asia and Australia, set for later in 2026 and early 2027. Find all ticket information here, UK tickets here, and international tickets here.
‘ARIRANG’ was given a four-star review from NME, which read: “Much of ‘ARIRANG’ negotiates polar ideas – BTS as heroes or normal people, the buzz of the spotlight and the hush of their private worlds, longing for the euphoric parts of life to continue versus wanting to get off of the ride.”
Since it dropped, BTS have unveiled a surprise hidden ‘ARIRANG‘ track, and NME has created what it considers to be the “dream BTS setlist”. Check it out here.
