Singer makes increasing rare onstage appearance for second night of Grand National Tour’s stop at SoFi Stadium
Justin Bieber made a surprise (and increasingly rare) onstage appearance Friday when he popped up during SZA’s set Friday during the Grand National Tour’s stop at Inglewood, California’s SoFi Stadium.
Following a trying couple of months that included since-denied Diddy rumors, a report about his “financial distress,” and concerning social media posts, Bieber was back in his artistic element Friday as he joined SZA for a rendition of “Snooze”; Bieber previously appeared on the acoustic remix of the SOS single.
While Bieber hasn’t performed a full public concert since September 2022, the singer has sporadically appeared onstage at other artists’ shows in recent years, including a cameo at Don Toliver’s Los Angeles gig in October 2024 to perform “Private Landing.”
However, Friday wasn’t the first time Bieber performed “Snooze” live: Back in February 2024, he attempted the track solo at a surprise Toronto mini-gig during the NHL All-Star Draft festivities. However, Friday’s rendition marked the first time Bieber and SZA had performed the song together onstage.
