Rezz pulls out of Coachella Weekend two: “I continued to push thinking it would be fine”

Rezz will no longer be appearing at Coachella 2026’s second weekend, citing health issues.

The Ukrainian-Canadian DJ performed on the Sahara stage on Saturday (April 11), but confirmed yesterday (April 14) that she had to drop out of this weekend’s festival.

“My body has been whispering for a while that I need a real break,” Rezz explained in a statement posted to X. “But I continued to push thinking it would be fine.”

“I have to put my health first as things going on need to be addressed,” she continued. “I’m really sorry to anyone who may be disappointed.”

She then promised to upload her full set from Coachella’s first weekend to YouTube. Rezz did not elaborate further on the specifics on her health issues.

Rezz became the first woman to headline the Sahara stage, a tent known for hosting major EDM artists, when she played Coachella for the first and only time in 2018.

In other news, Kacey Musgraves has been confirmed for a surprise last-minute slot at Coachella 2026 this weekend.

The country singer-songwriter will perform at weekend two of this year’s festival in Indio, California. She is scheduled to appear between 3-3:50pm on Saturday (April 18) at the Mojave Tent, where Jack White played during weekend one.
