Peso Pluma, Teezo Touchdown, Young Miko, Faye Webster, Flo Milli to Play Rolling Stone’s Future of Music Showcase at SXSW

Peso Pluma, Flo Milli, Teezo Touchdown, Young Miko, Faye Webster, and others will grace the stage at Austin’s famed ACL Live at the Moody Theater for Rolling Stone’s weeklong Future of Music showcase at South by Southwest.

The four-night concert series will take place between March 12 and March 15, featuring artists from around the world and across the genre spectrum. Texas MC Teezo Touchdown will headline night one, March 12, which will also feature performances from Brooklyn’s own Lola Brooke, Detroit punchline king Veeze, and Atlanta R&B innovator Chase Shakur.

Peso Pluma — fresh off his historic first Grammy win for Best Música Mexicana Album for last year’s breakthrough Génesis and a monster 2023 — will top a packed bill for night two, March 13. Joining him will be Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko, Mexican folk singer-songwriter Kevin Kaarl, Dominican MC J Noa, and Puerto Rican pop-rock-urbano experimentalist Pink Pablo.

On March 14, Flo Milli takes top billing with additional performances from amapiano sensation Uncle Waffles, Ghanaian singer-rapper Black Sherif, L.A. rap duo Flyana Boss, and Afrobeats star Pheelz.

Closing out the Future of Music showcase on March 15 will be Atlanta indie favorite Faye Webster, Alabama goth-country band Red Clay Strays, Santa Cruz hardcore outfit Scowl, and a pair of rising Austin singer-songwriters, Dylan Gossett and Jackie Venson.

The annual showcase is tied to Rolling Stone’s “Future of Music” print issue, which will be on newsstands in April and out digitally around the time of SXSW. Our second annual Future 25 list — Rolling Stone’s rundown of the artists that have us most excited about the future of music — will include several artists playing the showcase.

Last year’s Future of Music showcase welcomed more than 12,000 attendees across four nights, with a similarly stacked 24-artist roster. Among the performers were headliners J.I.D, Jay Wheeler, Remi Wolf, and Koffee, plus co-headlining acts Mariah the Scientist, Saba, Chloe Bailey, Coco Jones, and Cuco.

The event is presented by StockX, the leading global platform for trading and consuming current culture. Also joining on-site will be ~Pourri, which will be outfitting the theater’s restrooms, and Bacardí, which will be serving up its signature specialty mojito cocktail. In support of mental health initiatives in the music industry, Rolling Stone and the Hi, How Are You Project will display merch and the iconic mural painted by Daniel Johnston.
