The tour announcement comes shortly after the group last week shared that they are currently in preparations to release a new album in July. It will mark their first record since 2024’s ‘DREAMSCAPE’. Little else is known of the upcoming album at the time of writing, including its release date and title.

November’s ‘DREAMSCAPE’ marked the band’s fourth full-length album. It followed April 2024’s mini album Dream( )scape’.

In a three-star review of the mini-album, Tássia Assis wrote for NME: “After stunning teasers and contributions from the members to the concept and songs, ‘Dream( )scape’ should be cementing NCT Dream’s maturity and uniqueness – which it does to a certain extent. However, having ‘Smoothie’ as its lead single keeps them on a beaten, undermining path. When the rest of the album is much more creative, cohesive and enjoyable, what is ‘Smoothie’ providing? Any K-pop group could do ‘Smoothie’. No one else could pull off the rest of ‘Dream( )scape’.”
