Megan Thee Stallion had to set the record straight. After incorporating a pair of Slim Thug tracks into her weekend one Coachella set, Thug took it as Meg having a “crush” on him, but Thee Stallion cleared the air during her second set in the desert, letting him know that that is indeed not the case.
“And no, Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe,” Megan said while dancing to Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin” on Sunday night (April 20).
In addition to “Still Tippin,” the Houston Hottie also had “Thug From Around the Way” in her set, which led Slim Thug to talking about Meg on Instagram with his fans.
“If that ain’t a ‘I want you, daddy’ call, I don’t know what is,” he said. “I’m just waiting on my day, kid. I’m just waiting on her to come to Houston and hit my line like, ‘Hey I’m in the town! Pick me up!’ It’s only a matter of time at this point.”
Thug continued: “She brought me out in Houston. I know she got a crush on me by this point. She danced to two of my songs! … But we could have a good time. I’ll catch you in the city.”
Meg’s Hotties were happy that she cleared the air once and for all with Slim Thug. “Lmfaooooooo I’m glad she said this! Cuz homeboy was THIRSTING for her,” one person wrote on X. Another chimed in, “Clocked his old a– with quickness!”
Megan and Slim Thug appeared to be on good terms last summer when Thee Stallion brought out the fellow Houston rapper during her H-Town show on the Hot Girl Summer Tour.
On the music side, Meg is launching into her next era, as she announced plans for her next single, “Whenever,” which is slated to arrive on Friday (April 25).
