Maggie Rogers Hitting the Road in Support of New Album ‘Don’t Forget Me’

The Japanese House to serve as opening act on first leg of trek

Maggie Rogers will embark on a tour this spring in support of the singer’s upcoming new album Don’t Forget Me.

Following a gig at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Lovin’ Life Festival, the Don’t Forget Me Tour kicks off in earned May 23 with a San Diego show and remains on the road through June 22 in Miami. Along the way, Rogers will also make a stop at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 27 as well as the Bonnaroo festival on June 14.

The Japanese House will serve as support for the majority of dates on the tour, which has been dubbed “Part 1,” suggesting additional concerts to be announced.

Earlier this month, Rogers shared the title track from Don’t Forget Me, due out April 12.

“The song is a rough journal entry about going to a bunch of friends’ weddings and feeling so happy for them, but also realizing that I’m very simply in a different place in my life,” Rogers shared in a statement. “I’ve joked with my friends that it’s a song about having low expectations, but really I think it’s about craving simple baselines – a good lover or someone that’s nice to me. When it comes down to it, our memories and relationships are all we have. I don’t have a lot of asks, but I want my time spent on this earth to add up to something. For it all to be worth it in the end.”
