Liam Gallagher has spoken out on the chance of a special tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Oasis‘ second album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory’.

The singer is currently out on the road in the UK and Ireland to mark three decades of the Britpop band’s classic 1994 debut, ‘Definitely Maybe’.
Gallagher is playing the record in full at the gigs and airing numerous other tracks from that era, including the Noel-sung ‘Half The World Away’ – which he dedicated to his estranged brother and former bandmate.
Last Sunday (June 9), LG was asked by a fan on X/Twitter whether he had considered putting on a similar run of dates in celebration of ‘…Morning Glory’ (1995) turning 30 next year.
“Do you think you’ll do WTSMG tour next year Liam[?]” the user wrote, to which Liam replied: “Fuck all else to do.”
He said in a later update that “NOSTALGIA rules”, adding: “You can stick pushing it forward up your bum you can stick pushing it forward up your bum LG x.” You can see those posts below.

LG hinted last September that his next solo album was finished. His latest studio effort, ‘C’mon You Know’, came out in 2022 following on from ‘As You Were’ (2017) and ‘Why Me? Why Not.’ (2019).
Last October, ‘…Morning Glory’ was named the most streamed album of the ’90s in the UK – with its predecessor ‘Definitely Maybe’ coming in at second place.
The former shifted a record-breaking 345,000 copies in its first week in the UK, where it debuted at Number One. It spent an additional nine non-consecutive weeks in the top spot, and has gone on to become the UK’s fifth biggest-selling album of all time (via Official Charts).
It contains the huge singles ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ and ‘Some Might Say’.
In 2020, Oasis released a special vinyl reissue of the album to mark its 25th anniversary. Noel also sat down for a wide-ranging interview, digging deep into the storied creation of one of the most iconic LPs ever made.

During a conversation with NME in April, Liam said an Oasis comeback was “not happening” around the ‘Definitely Maybe’ anniversary this year. He was asked if fans could expect a reunion to celebrate the three-decade milestone of ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory’ in 2025 instead.
“I don’t know – I don’t think that’s happening either,” he responded. ‘It’s not happening at this moment in time.”
Oasis have since announced a 30th anniversary reissue of ‘Definitely Maybe’, featuring previously unheard recordings and outtakes.
Liam’s current tour has also seen the former frontman cover Noel‘s Oasis-era ‘Lock All The Doors’ demo, which the latter had reworked as a High Flying Birds track.
