KISS announce “unmasked” surprise 2025 show in Las Vegas

KISS have announced plans for an “unmasked” show in Las Vegas later this year.

The concert is part of the KISS Army fan club’s 50th anniversary celebrations, which is set to take place at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas on November 14-16.

It will mark the band’s first performance since their 2023 farewell tour.

According to an email sent out to fans, the concert also promises “a special live performance from former KISS member Bruce Kulick, along with other special guests, activities, exclusive experiences and more.”

The guitarist played on five KISS albums before leaving the band in 1996.

The show comes after Gene Simmons quietly postponed 17 dates on his upcoming solo tour in April and May, with the tour set to kick off at the Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park, California on April 5.

However, in a recent statement given by Christina Vitaglano, who runs Simmons’ backstage VIP fan experience packages, it was revealed the April dates as well as the Texas leg of the May dates have all been postponed “until early 2026.”

KISS, meanwhile, were recently working on their upcoming avatar show, which Paul Stanley previously described as “Cirque Du Soleil meets Star Wars and a KISS concert”.

The production is being overseen by the company behind ABBA’s ‘Voyage’ show, in which the Swedish pop group were represented by holographic virtual avatars on stage.

Pophouse acquired KISS’ catalogue, brand name and IP last April, while the band first unveiled their ‘new era’ at the final show of their farewell tour in December 2023 in Madison Square Garden. After leaving the stage, the band members’ avatars were revealed, and they went on to perform ‘God Gave Rock And Roll To You’.

Shortly afterwards, Gene Simmons confirmed that the band’s virtual avatars will “get better”, and revealed that “about 200 million” dollars was being invested in the technology.
