Kelly Clarkson, Meghan Trainor Knock Out Effortless ‘All About That Bass’ Duet

Trainor celebrated the 10th anniversary of her debut single on Monday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show

Meghan Trainor joined Kelly Clarkson on the Kellyoke stage on Monday for a stellar performance of her hit 2014 debut single “All About That Bass.”

The Title singer celebrated the track’s 10th anniversary with the host, who noted that it was the “best-selling song by a female artist of the previous decade.” Trainor’s doo wop-inspired song reached Number One on the Billboard Hot 100, where it spent eight consecutive weeks.

The pair harmonized effortlessly as they sang, “My mama she told me don’t worry about your size/She says, boys like a little more booty to hold at night/And no I won’t be no stick-figure, silicone Barbie doll/So, if that’s what’s you’re into, then go ahead and move along.”

Last month, the “Mother” artist announced that her upcoming album Timeless will release on June 14 via Epic Records. Trainor also shared that she’ll be going on tour across the U.S. for the first time in seven years this fall with stops at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum and New York’s Madison Square Garden.

“I cannot believe it has been 10 years since this all started, I have never been more grateful for this life that my incredible Megatronz have gifted me with,” she said in a press release, referring to her fans. “This new album and tour are all for them and my beautiful family.”

Clarkson recently marked another milestone on her show, and last week celebrated her birthday with Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson to share stories from the past and perform their classic songs together including “Magic Man” and “Alone.”

The talk show host has also performed other memorable duets of late including a heartbreaking rendition of British singer-songwriter James Arthur‘s Bitter Sweet Love track, “From the Jump.” Clarkson also enlisted Lainey Wilson for a special performance of “Country’s Cool Again,” which appeared on Wilson’s studio album of the same name.
