Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign to Perform at Rolling Loud California

The Vultures duo will perform a special headlining slot ahead of the festival weekend

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign will perform at Rolling Loud California on March 14th, the festival announced on Thursday.

The duo is performing as ¥$ and will play a special headlining slot on the Thursday before the festival weekend. Ty was originally slated to perform on his own for a Saturday night slot, and the show appears to be exclusive to those with three-day passes. Ticket holders with three-day tickets will have complimentary access to the new headlining slot, the festival said, and those with single-day tickets will be sent an email with the option to upgrade to a three-day pass.

Aside from West and Ty, other artists headlining the festival include Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, and Future and Metro Boomin. Other than the headliners, Summer Walker, Big Sean, Sexyy Red, and Don Toliver are among some of the other noteworthy acts. Tickets are available on the festival’s website.

The announcement comes a week after West and Ty released their collaborative album Vultures 1. The album itself has had a messy rollout as both Ozzy Osbourne and the estate of Donna Summers said that West had sampled their music without permission.

Meanwhile, the album was briefly pulled from Apple Music after its distributor FUGA said that it had declined to work with West on the album, but that another FUGA client uploaded the album through the service anyways. (By Thursday afternoon, the album was back on Apple as a source told Rolling Stone that the album was now being distributed by Create Music Group’s Label Engine.)
