Other highlights on Here in the Pitch include “World on a String” and the final track, “The Last Year.” In an interview with us in May, Pratt broke down the record and revealed her favorite influences — most of them stemming from Sixties California rock — from the Beach Boys to Love to the Mamas and Papas.

Next week, Pratt will embark on her tour in support of Here in the Pitch, kicking off on July 18 in Minneapolis. She’ll perform two nights at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on the 25 and 26, followed by stops in Washington, D.C. and Nashville. She’ll head to the U.K. in the fall.
