Fred again.. announces first stadium gig at the LA Memorial Coliseum

Fred again.. has announced his first stadium gig at the LA Memorial Coliseum – find out how you can get your tickets below.

The DJ and producer just shared the news today (June 9), where he also wrote that the concert at the 77,500-capacity stadium would be taking place this Friday (June 14).

“We been working on this for monthsssss and its definitely the maddest live show we’ve ever tried to do so far,” he added.

You can sign up for pre-sale at the link here. All tickets will go on sale tomorrow (June 10); pre-sale tickets will start at 10am PST, with general sale following shortly after at 1pm PST. Find your tickets here.

The LA Memorial Coliseum gigs follow off the back of his three-day Frost Ampitheatre residency in Stanford, California. There, he previewed unreleased songs such as ‘Side By Side’. Take a listen to the new track below:

Fred again.. also recently toured Australia, where he brought out singer Angie McMahon out to sing ‘Angie (I’ve Been Lost)’ in Melbourne. He later hailed her as one of his “favourite singers ever” in an Instagram story.

The DJ will soon appear as one of the six headliners for Reading & Leeds, where he will perform on Sunday at Leeds, and on Saturday at Reading later this August. He will also appear at Helsinki’s Flow Festival.

He last release music last May, teaming up with Brian Eno for a collaborative album that NME rated three stars: “Released just a few weeks after Fred closed Coachella with a set of thunderous dance and techno alongside Four Tet and Skrillex, ‘Secret Life’ sees him handbrake turn once again into ambient haze, assisted by the man who made it all happen for him. This surprise album – despite its frequent beauty – works best as a puzzle piece rather than a standout record in its own right.”

In other news, Reading & Leeds are giving away tickets to encourage young people to vote.
