Cher Continues Her Story in Part 2 of Bestselling Memoir: Shop the New Book Here

The Goddess of Pop is not done telling her story. Cher: Part Two: The Memoir continues the account from Cher: Part One: The Memoir, which arrived on Nov. 19, 2024, and topped the charts before it even hit bookshelves. Born Cheryl Sarkisian in El Centro, California, the first volume covers the singer’s childhood, rise to fame and complicated marriage to Sonny Bono, with revelations about Bono’s financial control, infidelity and an admission that he had considered killing her.

Now, fans can look forward to the rest of Cher’s story, with the first book leaving off around 1980. Book Two is set for April 20, 2027, in hardcover, paperback, audiobook and ebook formats, and is available now for preorder. The cover has not yet been revealed, but it features the same color scheme as Volume One, making it a fitting companion piece for the collection. The book is listed at 480 pages, adding to the already considerable 432 pages delivered in the first tome. Clearly, the “Believe” singer has a lot more to say.

Among the many striking revelations in Cher: Part One: The Memoir regarding Bono’s volatile behavior, the Oscar winner also recounted being pursued by Warren Beatty at 15 and helping Tina Turner navigate an abusive marriage to Ike Turner. The memoir is available in paperback, hardcover, ebook and audiobook formats, with the latter narrated by the author herself.
