Chappell Roan, Reneé Rapp, Janelle Monáe Lead Inaugural All Things Go Fest in NYC

All Things Go announced on Tuesday that it will be expanding to the New York City area later this year, with a lineup led by Reneé Rapp, Janelle Monáe, Chappell Roan, Muna, Ethel Cain, and Julien Baker.

The inaugural New York edition will be held at Forest Hills Stadium on Sept. 28 and Sept 29, featuring an all-female and non-binary lineup with most of the performers being members of the LGBTQ community. (Happy pride!)

Day One of All Things Go — headlined by Rapp, Muna, and Roan — will see performances from Holly Humberstone, Soccer Mommy, Del Water Gap, Coco & Clair Clair, and Towa Bird. Meanwhile, Sunday’s event, led by Monáe, Cain, and Baker, will include sets from Mannequin Pussy, Samia, Maisie Peters, Indigo DeSouza, and Annie DiRusso.

Tickets for the NYC festival are set to go on sale on Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. ET.

This year’s original All Things Go in Maryland also features Monáe and Rapp in headlining slots, along with Bleachers, Laufey, Hozier, and Conan Gray. Last year’s festival was headlined by Lana Del Rey, Boygenius, and Maggie Rogers. Jack Antonoff even joined Del Rey onstage for renditions of “Margaret” and “Venice Bitch” as his wife Margaret Qualley watched from the crowd.

“I think we really lean into… the fact that there is a very specific identity around this festival,” said festival promoter Stephen Vallimarescu in an interview with Forbes last year. “I think we don’t take ourselves too seriously. The festival community doesn’t take itself too seriously, but it’s about music. And I think the thing that’s special and that we pride ourselves in is the fans come to All Things Go, they show up at noon and they stay until doors close and they’re there for the music.”
