Beatport’s Dance Industry Conference Is Returning To L.A.

Beatport is bringing its dance industry conference, Beatport Connect, back to Los Angeles this fall.

Beatport Connect will return to the W Hollywood for its second year on Sept. 25, with the upcoming event featuring two rooms of programming, up from last year’s single space. A press release notes that “One room will focus on the cultural, technological, and industry trends shaping electronic music, while the second will feature practical sessions on artist career development, with first-hand advice from artists and industry professionals on branding, business, partnerships, and long-term career growth.”

Confirmed speakers at the conference include Adrienne Fitzpatrick of Warner Records, Bailey Greenwood of WME, Maddy Savage of Ninja Tune, Matt Gralen of Beatport, Maurice Slade of SoundCloud and Nicholas Douglas of Notion, along with artists Kitty Amor, MPH, salute, and Wuki. Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks. (The author of this story is also on the event’s speaker lineup.)

Conversation topics will include the future of electronic music, building sustainable artist careers, opportunities in synch licensing and the changing landscape of festivals and live events. Brands including Musical Beings, Hisong, Beatport.io and Gigwell will have a presence at the event. The day will start with a breakfast presented in association with Her Dancefloor, the organization that champions and connects women in dance music.

The 2026 edition of Beatport Connect follows the inaugural New York edition, held this past July. Tickets for the L.A. event start at $50 and are available now.

“As the home of electronic music, Beatport has always been about connecting the people who move the culture forward,” Beatport’s chief brand officer Ed Hill says in a statement. “Beatport Connect brings artists, promoters, labels, technologists, and fans together to share ideas, build new relationships, and shape what’s next for the industry. We’re excited to return to Los Angeles on an even bigger scale this year.”
