The Brazilian superstar recently dropped the single “Pinterest,” while Domingo is gearing up for Michael and the new season of Euphoria
Saturday Night Live has announced its lineup for April 11, featuring Anitta as the musical guest and Colman Domingo as host.
Both the Brazilian superstar and the actor are making their debut on the comedy sketch show, which is currently in its 51st season. Their episode will follow Jack Black and Jack White on April 4; prior to that, Harry Styles worked double duty as host and musical guest on March 14, and Ryan Gosling and the Gorillaz appeared on March 7.
Domingo is gearing up for the highly-anticipated new season of Euphoria and Michael, the Michael Jackson biopic directed by Antoine Fuqua (Domingo stars as Michael’s father and manager, Joe Jackson). Meanwhile, Anitta (real name Larissa de Macedo Machado) is slated to release her new album, Equilibrium, this year. Earlier this month, she dropped her new single, “Pinterest,” in both Spanish and Portuguese.

“Today, as an adult, I have my ups and downs, but every time I remember my purest essence, the child Larissa, I fall in love with myself all over again,” she said upon the single’s release. “This story is so touching to me. The most powerful story of my life is this, among all the others, the one that excites me the most. In life we can have great loves. Falling in love is sweet, but never forget that your first great love has to be yourself.”
Last year, Anitta starred in the Netflix documentary Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta, directed by João Wainer and Pedro Cantelmo. Equilibrium will follow 2024’s Funk Generation, which she first previewed as an EP a year prior. “Let’s just live life appreciating everything, not thinking, ‘How am I going to get something from this?’” she told Rolling Stone at the time. “Just doing things because you want to — that’s the message I’m going to send with this album.”
