Aminé has announced his first-ever festival, The Best Day Ever – find out the festival’s line-up, ticketing information and more below.

The Best Day Ever will be a new two-day festival launched by Aminé in his hometown of Portland, Oregon this August. Conceptualised by the rapper himself, it will showcase some of his closest friends and collaborators in the music scene – such as Kaytranada – as well as other acts like BADBADNOTGOOD, Toro y Moi and others.

The Best Day Ever’s debut edition will take place on August 10 and August 11 at the Edgefield Lawn, and will be headlined by Aminé and Kaytranada. It is currently unclear if they’ll be performing separate sets, or if they’ll pair up to perform their ‘Kaytraminé’ material. It is unclear at this point if more acts will be announced in the coming months.

Pre-sale tickets go live this Thursday (May 16) at 10am PT via the festival’s website, where fans will be able to secure a pre-sale code. On Friday (May 17), general tickets will go on sale at 10am PT.

The line-up for Aminé’s The Best Day Ever festival 2024 is:

Aminé
Kaytranada
BADBADNOTGOOD
Karrahbooo
Madison LST
Ravyn Lenae
Toro y Moi
3Way Heff

Aminé’s last album ‘Kaytraminé’, came out last year alongside collaborator Kaytranada. In a four-star review NME declared it a “contender for the summer’s hottest album”. It added: “Bridging inventive production, confident lyricism, and delightful sonics, it shows off the genius and depth of their cohesive partnership; long may it continue.” The collaborative album ranked in the 31st place on NME‘s top albums of 2023 list.
