Coachella announce dates for 2027 and how to get tickets

Coachella has announced its dates and ticket information for 2027 – check out everything you need to know below.

The 2026 instalment wrapped up with its second weekend on Sunday (April 19), and now organisers have confirmed that the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California will once again play host to the festival again next April.

The first weekend will take place from April 9 to 11, while weekend two will run from April 16 to 18. No artists have yet been revealed for the line-up, with the festival’s typical pattern being to make the major announcements between October and December.

Advanced ticket sale passes go on sale at 11am PST (7pm UK time) via the Coachella website here, with further tiers set to follow in the coming months, each with an expected price increase.

Ticket options include General Admission, which covers entry to all three days of a single weekend of the festival and access to the general admission camping areas. In addition, there is a General Admission option with an added Shuttle pass, and a discount for fans buying a four-pack of General Admission tickets.

There will also be a VIP package that includes access to VIP areas all weekend, with dedicated entry and exit lanes, access to preferred parking, customised food and drink options, enclosed VIP areas next to the main stages, air-conditioned restrooms and shaded seating areas.

Coachella also offers separate camping, parking and shuttle passes.

Coachella 2026 saw headline performances from Sabrina Carpenter, who turned her first weekend show into a tribute to old Hollywood with Susan Sarandon and Will Ferrell, while her second saw her welcome Madonna to the stage for ‘Vogue’ and ‘Like A Prayer’.

Justin Bieber was another headliner, bringing Billie Eilish out for ’One Less Lonely Girl’ and SZA for ‘Snooze’, as was Karol G, who became the first Latina artist to top the Coachella bill.

Elsewhere this year, PinkPantheress was joined by Janelle Monáe, Blood Orange and Zara Larsson, Sombr covered Radiohead and invited Billy Idol on stage, The Stokes got political on both weekends, Kacey Musgraves debuted new songs in a surprise set and Muse’s Matt Bellamy appeared during Anyma’s set.

Clipse also played an emotional set with Travis Barker, Iggy Pop left the stage in a coffin, KATSEYE got in on ‘KPop Demon Hunters’, David Byrne brought out the Talking Heads classics, Jack White tore through a surprise set and The xx made their long-awaited return.
