Wolf Alice have announced an intimate show in London to celebrate the release of ‘The Clearing’.
The band announced details of their fourth studio album in the spring, and it will be released on August 22 via Sony.
The forthcoming LP follows on from their debut album ‘My Love Is Cool’, Mercury Prize-winning sophomore release ‘Visions Of A Life’ and 2022’s cinematic ‘Blue Weekend’.
Now, ahead of the release this Friday, Ellie Rowsell and co. have announced details of a one-off intimate gig in London. Set to take place on Thursday (August 21), just one day before the official album release, the show will see them play in the intimate Dublin Castle venue in Camden.
Fans can be entered into a ballot for a chance to attend the show, and entries come from pre-ordering the record from the band’s official store by 11.59pm tonight (Tuesday August 19). Visit here to do so.
Wolf Alice have so far shared the singles ‘Bloom Baby Bloom’, ‘The Sofa’ and ‘White Horses’ from the record. News of the Camden show comes following the members announcing details of two other small shows that will follow the record’s release – Circuit in Kingston on August 31 and Camp and Furnace in Liverpool on September 1.

In June, the band spoke to NME at Glastonbury about how the response to their third album shaped their approach to ‘The Clearing’, and after their set, NME gave their performance five stars, writing: “The energy they pour into today’s set feels like that of a band who should be topping the Pyramid Stage next time they play Worthy Farm.”
