Will Smith has revealed the release date and tracklist for his forthcoming album ‘Based On A True Story’.
‘Based On A True Story’ will mark his first full-length project in 20 years, following Smith’s 2005 LP ‘Lost And Found’. Today (March 17), the actor and musician took to his official Instagram account to share the LP’s full tracklist and its release date.
“It’s OFFICIAL!! My new album Based On A True Story drops March 28. TWO WEEKS!! Hit that presave. Been working on this project for a minute and I’m itchin’ to get it out to y’all 🫶🏾,” Smith wrote in the caption of his post.
The post also shared the LP’s cover art which features Smith sporting a red Philadelphia Phillies baseball cap and jacket with a white t-shirt, sneakers and baggy jeans. You can pre-save the album here.
The tracklist is comprised of 14 songs, each referred to as an episode, and will feature his previously released singles ‘Beautiful Scars‘, ‘You Can Make It’, ‘Work Of Art’ featuring his son Jaden and Russ and ‘Tantrum’ with Joyner Lucas. Other artists who Smith has collaborated with on the LP include the likes of Teyana Taylor and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
