Where Will Ed Sheeran, Olivia Dean, Sombr Land On the Hot 100?

Can Ed Sheeran’s “Camera,” Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need,” or Sombr’s “Back to Friends” crack into the top 10 and overtake the hold that ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ has on the Hot 100? Our Billboard chart experts break it all down on this week’s Contenders.

Is Ed Sheeran making a comeback? Will Olivia Dean become a new chart princess? Are you feeling a little Sombr? I mean, can anybody shake the ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ four spots in the top 10? We’re talking some of the contenders on this week’s race to No.1.

So my thought is that all of ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ will be on the top three.

But Ed Sheeran just released a brand-new project. I don’t need a camera.

Well, I think Ed Sheeran is back next week in a big way. People are really talking about the “Camera” song that’s popping off from the new album ‘Play.’ You know, it’s been a little quieter on the Hot 100 in the past couple of years, but look out, “Camera” just might put him back in the conversation.

I think Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” is gonna have a huge week next week. I feel like I hear that song everywhere. It’s all over TikTok. It just hit the top 40 of this week’s chart for the first time. I think it’s gonna climb even higher next week

But after a VMA performance, a lot of people are feeling Sombr.

It’s still climbing up the Hot 100. “Undressed” is in the top 20 for the first time. “Back to Friends” in the top 25 for the first time. So Sombr is really on people’s best new artist Grammy picks. Both those songs climbing up will continue to go up in the next couple of weeks. It’ll be a Sombr September.
