‘Weird Al’ Yankovic Announces Massive ‘Bigger & Weirder’ 2025 Tour

“Weird Al” Yankovic is returning to the road in 2025 on the Bigger & Weirder tour. It will feature an expanded version of his backing band, multiple costume changes, video screens, and the return of his famous parody songs following 2022’s stripped-down The Unfortunate Return of The Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour that hit smaller venues, utilized minimal production, zero costumes, and concentred solely on Yankovic’s deep cuts from his vast catalog.

“This is kind of a ‘best of both worlds’ tour,” Yankovic said in a press release. “We’ll be doing all the big crowd-pleasing parodies as well as some deep cuts for the hardcore fans – but with twice as many players on stage, everything is going to sound twice as good!”

The tour kicks off June 13, 2025, with a five-night stand at The Venetian Theatre at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, before heading across the entire country over the following three months. It includes a stop at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 12, which will mark Yankovic’s first show at the famed arena in his four-decade career.

There hasn’t been a new “Weird Al” album since 2014’s Mandatory Fun, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Since that time, he’s devoted his time to projects like the mock biopic Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, numerous concert tours, and one-off polka singles like 2018’s “The Hamilton Polka” and 2024’s “Polkamania!” One thing he hasn’t done is release any new parody songs, which isn’t likely to change any time soon.

“I’m at a point in my life where I feel like I want to just try new things,” he told Rolling Stone in July. “I mean, I’ve been following the same formula for four decades, and I want to get more involved in feature films and TV, and I love voice acting. I want to still keep doing music, and I still love touring, obviously. But doing new parodies just… I don’t know. I’m not ruling it out, but it’s just not my focus anymore.”

Yankovic will be joined on tour by Puddles Pity Party (aka Michael Geier), a seven-foot-tall clown with an operatic singing voice. He’s appeared on America’s Got Talent and performed with Primus and A Perfect Circle.
