Watch Tyler, the Creator Get Flirty With Nia Long, Ayo Edebiri & More in Colorful ‘Darling, I’ Video

Even though Don’t Tap the Glass is Tyler, the Creator’s latest album, he’s still showing love to the CHROMAKOPIA era.

Tyler returned to the green-tinted CHROMAKOPIA ethos on Tuesday (Aug. 19) with the long-awaited visual to fan-favorite deep cut “Darling, I” featuring Teezo Touchdown.

The colorful clip is a star-studded affair as Tyler flirts with numerous love interests played by Nia Long, Ayo Edebiri, Willow Smith and Lauren London throughout the video. Teezo pops up toward the end in the role of a ticket window cashier and afro-sporting bus driver.

The Grammy-winning rapper surprises each of the startled women with a gift, a live beating heart, still pumping blood outside the body.

Shot in the style of a Wes Anderson film, Tyler expertly changes aesthetics, jumping from skatepark streetwear to upscale preppy for his Rolls-Royce date night with Nia Long. He finally settles to find his “forever” before things finish up.

“Darling, I” peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 while CHROMAKOPIA topped the Billboard 200. Tyler didn’t take his foot off the gas in 2025, after earning another No. 1 album with Don’t Tap the Glass in July.

Tyler kicked off the Australia/New Zealand leg of his Chromakopia World Tour on Monday (Aug. 18) with a show in Auckland. He’ll also be hitting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth before heading to Japan. The Asia leg will make additional stops in September in South Korea, Thailand and the Philippines.

The California native is also getting into his acting bag, with his feature film debut lined up for Christmas Day when A24’s Marty Supreme hits U.S. theaters.
