Turnstile have taken over a Baltimore Orioles baseball game, after the team hosted a night in their honour. Check out footage of the event below.
The appearance of the Baltimore hardcore band took place as the Baltimore Orioles baseball team held a night dedicated to them last Friday (July 10).
At the game, the team sold one-off jerseys that paid homage to the band – with “Orioles” written on the front and “Turnstile” written on the back – and also invited out each of the five members to throw out a pitch.
There were other activities related to the band on the night too, and the members joined the team’s Chief Hydration Officer “Mr Splash” to help hose down fans each time the Orioles got an extra base hit.
Their appearance seemed to be a good luck charm for the team too, as the night saw them defeat the Kansas City Royals 5-3.
The hardcore band will soon head over the pond to play a UK-exclusive headline show at The Piece Hall in Halifax and also open for Tyler, The Creator at London’s All Points East.
Other artists joining them at the latter include Rex Orange County, Clipse, Sexyy Red, Ravyn Lenae, Vince Staples, Daniel Caesar, Baby Keem, Dijon, Ghostface Killah, Syd, Faye Webster, Danny Brown, Jim Legxacy and more.
Earlier this year, the band made an appearance on BBC 1’s Live Lounge Late, and covered the intense track ‘Burning Fight’, which was released by Zack de la Rocha’s pre-Rage Against The Machine band, Inside Out.
Shortly before then, Turnstile hit the stage at Coachella 2026 – and started their set by addressing the news that their former guitarist Brady Ebert had hit Yates’ father with his car.
Reports emerged earlier that month that Ebert, who parted ways with Turnstile in 2022, had been arrested for attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault. It later transpired that Ebert was said to have run over vocalist Yates’ father, William, with his car.
Turnstile later confirmed that Ebert had caused “severe physical trauma” by running over William, who underwent surgery and was “hoping for the best possible outcome in his recovery”.
