Turnstile have delivered the first stage dive on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. Check out the moment below.
The hardcore giants are the latest act to take part in the video series, performing a five-song set from their latest album ‘Never Enough’. They played ‘Dreaming’, ‘Sunshower’, ‘I Care’, the album’s title track, and ‘Birds’, with a three-piece horn section added to give a new twist to the songs.
At around the 14-minute mark, frontman Brendan Yates jumped on the desk and dived into the dancing crowd, marking the series’ first stage dive. Earlier in the set, the Baltimore native would reflect on what the appearance means to the band.
“This being somewhat of a hometown show for us, there’s a lot of very important people in the room” he said. “A lot of personal heroes, a lot of people that we grew up with, people that are family, people that are friends, people the we found music with, people that we made music with. All that to say, thank you for always being there, and I love you.”

‘Never Enough’ received a glowing five-star review from NME, and was also named as one of our best albums of 2025 so far.
Speaking to NME in June, drummer Daniel Fang says the success of 2021’s ‘Glow On’ didn’t create any pressure when making its follow-up. “I don’t know how anyone would have time or the bandwidth to manage outside expectations,” he said. “I don’t think any of us can even fathom that, because there’s an infinite well within everyone [in the band]… I don’t understand how anyone could be guided by that when there’s so much else to work off of.”
