Watch The Killers’ Brandon Flowers join New Order for ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’ in Salt Lake City

The Killers’ Brandon Flowers joined New Order on stage in Salt Lake City this week for a version of ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’ – watch below.

The veteran Manchester band were headlining the first night of the 2025 edition of Kilby Block Party in the Utah State Fairpark on Thursday (May 15) when they brought out the Killers frontman.

They went on to play an extended version of their classic 1986 track, with Flowers taking on lead vocals – just as he did when Bernard Sumner joined The Killers at London’s O2 in November 2017, as well as at Manchester shows in 2013 and 2015.

Writing on Instagram after the show, the band said: “It was great to catch up with our friend @brandonflowers in Salt Lake City when he joined the band to sing Bizarre Love Triangle at @kilbyblockparty.”

New Order played:

‘Transmission’
‘Ceremony’
‘Age Of Consent’
‘Isolation’
‘Player In The League’
‘Your Silent Face’
‘State Of The Nation’
‘Be A Rebel’
‘Sub-Culture’
‘Bizarre Love Triangle’ (with Brandon Flowers)
‘Plastic’
‘True Faith’
‘Blue Monday’
‘Temptation’
‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’

New Order have been a highly influential artist on The Killers since day one, with the Las Vegas band even taking their name from the fictional band depicted in New Order’s video for 2001 single ‘Crystal’.

In 2017, Flowers recalled meeting Sumner for the first time – revealing that it happened in a toilet at the NME Awards.

“It was our first time going to the NME Awards, and we were starstruck,” Flowers said. “It was an incredible experience for us. We were just happy to be there. I’m in the bathroom. I’m at the urinal. And Bernard Sumner, who’s one of my heroes, steps up next to me.”

In other news, The Killers recently released the encore they played with Bruce Springsteen at Madison Square Garden in 2022 as a special Record Store Day 2025 7” release, with only 5,000 limited edition copies being made.
