Puerto Rican singer Ozuna joined the Colombian superstar to perform their collab “Monotonía,” included in her Grammy-winning album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which gives its name to her tour. The song, a bachata about heartbreak released in Oct. 2022 via Sony Music Latin, spent nine weeks at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Tropical Airplay chart, and six weeks at the top of Latin Airplay. It also reached No. 3 on Hot Latin Song.

Shakira kicked off the U.S. leg of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour on Tuesday (May 13) at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium, where Sanz showed up to perform their passionate “La Tortura” and rapper Wyclef Jean joined her to revive their No. 1 Hot 100 hit, “Hips Don’t Lie”.

The show marked the continuation of a historic trek in Latin America, where she set worldwide box office records in March. The North American stretch of the tour will bring the superstar to major cities across the U.S. and Canada, including Montreal, Toronto, Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, before wrapping up on June 30 in San Francisco.

For her second night at the MetLife Stadium on Friday (May 16), Shakira has already announced special appearances by Pitbull and Rauw Alejandro.
