The pop star joined the Muppets as they returned to the original Muppet Theatre in a new trailer shared yesterday (January 2). It comes ahead of the musical event, due to premiere on Disney+ and ABC on February 4.
In the teaser trailer, Carpenter gives Miss Piggy a pep talk, telling the character: “You are an icon,” to which she responds: “You’re too sweet — go on.” Moments later, they’re donning matching outfits and performing a duet.
Executive producer Seth Rogen also makes an appearance in the teaser, too. “It’s always been a dream of mine to be here,” he tells Fozzie Bear, who responds: “Got any other dreams?”
Check it out below.
It comes after Carpenter arrested Miss Piggy during the final night of her ‘Short N’ Sweet’ tour back in November.
“I’d know that face anywhere,” Carpenter said at the time, before asking: “Excuse me, what is your name?”
“No one has prepared me for you being here, actually. Are you enjoying the show?” she asked, while Miss Piggy said that while she was “loving it” she did have some suggestions.

“You’re so funny, Miss Piggy, wow,” Carpenter responded. “You’re the only celebrity I get nervous to be around. I’m getting really flustered … We’ve arrested so many beautiful individuals and I feel like tonight is your night.”
While Sabrina pulled out the pink handcuffs, Bobo said he would take care of business himself, and escorted Miss Piggy out of the venue saying: “I brought my own, thanks. Let’s go, Pig […] Tell it to the judge, sister.”
In other news, Carpenter’s tongue-in-cheek track ‘House Tour’ was ranked at 34 in NME‘s 50 Best Songs of 2025 list. The entry read: “Pop’s reigning queen of innuendo sums up her M.O. on this effortlessly slinky funk bop, an extended come-on set to a sticky Janet Jackson-esque beat. When Sabrina Carpenter sings “I spent a little fortune on the waxed floors”, she isn’t complaining about the cost of polished mahogany.”
