Watch RAYE debut new ‘This Music May Contain Hope’ songs as she kicks off 2026 tour in Poland

RAYE has kicked off her 2026 tour dates, and debuted multiple new songs from her upcoming album ‘This Music May Contain Hope’. Check out footage and the full setlist below.

The show came as the opening night to the South London singer’s ‘This Tour May Contain New Music’ shows, and kicked off in Lodz, Poland, last night (Thursday January 22).

Just hours before the gig began, RAYE surprised fans by officially announcing her hotly anticipated second studio album, ‘This Music May Contain Hope’. That record is the long-awaited follow-up to her breakthrough, ‘My 21st Century Blues’.

Taking to the stage at the Atlas Arena, the show began with two brand new, currently unreleased tracks by the record called ‘Intro: Girl Under The Gray Cloud’ and ‘I Will Overcome’.

As suggested from the title, the former has a melancholic undertone, and sees RAYE lean into themes of heartbreak and loss, while the latter takes on a much more powerful, intense energy.

From there, RAYE went into a rendition of her new single ‘Where Is My Husband!’, which was named as one of the best songs of 2025 by NME, before launching into fan favourite, ‘The Thrill Is Gone’.

Another unreleased song followed, called ‘Skin & Bone’, which leans into more upbeat hip-hop and R&B influences, and shortly after was a new song with a similar energy called ‘Beware The South London Lover Boy’.

After renditions of ‘Flip A Switch’, ‘Decline’ and ‘Five Star Hotels’, RAYE debuted another song called ‘The Winter Woman’, and followed this up later with another unreleased song called ‘Nightingale Lane’, which is more of an emotional ballad than the other new songs.

Act II of the show kicked off with ‘Oscar Winning Tears’, and was followed by two back-to-back new songs: an R&B and electronica-inspired ‘Click Clack Symphony’ and ‘Black Prada Brits’.

The two final new tracks debuted came at the end of the night and were called ‘Donk’ and ‘Joy’. They closed the set before ‘Escapism.’ was played as the encore, and ‘Joy’ was an uplifting, high-energy track that saw all the members of her live band join in with vocals.

RAYE’s tour continues throughout Europe this month, and will head over to the UK in February, with stops in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin and two huge shows at London’s The O2. See all of the dates here and find any remaining tickets here.

When announcing the new album yesterday, RAYE confirmed that the tracklist will be set in four “seasons”, with each side of the vinyl release covering a different season.

“Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world,” she explained. “I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”

In 2024, the singer-songwriter announced that her second album would be delayed following the theft of her car with her songwriting books inside. She then revealed in October 2025 that she had found her stolen car with her songwriting books “untouched”, meaning she could go back to working on it.

Ahead of the album being officially announced yesterday, RAYE spoke to Elle Magazine about the new material, and addressed the comparisons to Amy Winehouse that have followed her over the years.

“I’m aware that what she did is irreplaceable and inimitable and that is what it is,” she said. “What’s difficult for me is when people are so horrible, rude, nasty, and evil with their words, ‘You’ll never be her. You are an absolute failure. You disgust me trying to think that you could even be remotely like she was.’ And it’s like the funny thing to me about the way they’re speaking to me is, it’s that same evil [that Amy faced].”
