Misfits played a blistering 20-song set at Coachella late on Saturday night (April 12) – check it out below.
The horror punk greats, who now perform under the name The Original Misfits, headlined the Outdoor Theatre stage on weekend one of the California festival.
The group is currently comprised of vocalist Glenn Danzig, bassist Jerry Only and guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, with the trio of original members having reformed in 2016. They had not played together since 1983 at the time.
The set included seven tracks from their 1982 debut album ‘Walk Among Us’: ‘20 Eyes, ‘Astro Zombies’, ‘I Turned Into A Martian’, ‘Mommy, Can I Go Out And Kill Tonight?’, ‘Skulls’, ‘Vampira’ and ‘Violent World’.

Last month, Glenn Danzig’s other band Danzig faced criticism for using a Nazi-associated symbol on their official merchandise.
In other Coachella news, Lady Gaga performed a theatrical five-act set and A. G. Cook brought out Danny Brown, performing a host of tracks before remixing Charli XCX’s ‘Party 4 U’.
Charli XCX brought out Lorde, Billie Eilish and Troye Sivan for her highly-awaited performance, and there was controversy during Kneecap‘s set after they led an anti-Margaret Thatcher chant, with fans reporting the online stream had cut out shortly after.
Travis Scott played an eye-catching headline show on Saturday, while Lola Young struggled through a sickness bug to deliver her debut at the festival.
