Japanese Breakfast premiered songs from their new album ‘For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women)‘ in New York as part of a concert in a museum.

Michelle Zauner and her band put on a theatrical production with props and costumes at the El Museo Del Barrio over the weekend, which saw them perform the album – released last Friday (March 21) – in its entirety along with tracks from the frontwoman’s old band, Little Big League.

You can view a host of the songs performed live below including ‘Here Is Someone’, ‘Orlando In Love’, ‘Men In Bars’ and ‘Winter In LA’.

Following the performance Zauner also took to Instagram to share a host of pictures from the gig.

She wrote: “Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make The Melancholy Recital! We had so much fun putting this special event together to celebrate the release of For Melancholy Brunettes (&sad women). We can’t wait to see you on The Melancholy Tour next month!”
