The moment took place during Finneas’s show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium last night (February 13) as part of his current tour in support of his 2024 album ‘For Cryin’ Out Loud!‘.

As the show drew to a close, he surprised fans with Williams, who came to sing the band’s 2007 track, taken from their seminal second album ‘Riot!’ for the final song of the night.

It marks Williams’ first time performing the song in seven years. You can check out footage of the performance below.

The surprise cameo from Williams follows both artists’ recent appearances at the ‘G*ve a F*ck LA’ benefit concert on February 5. The gig took place at the Hollywood Palladium and raised funds to help with relief efforts in Los Angeles after the city was swept by five concurrent wildfires that brought unprecedented destruction to the area in January.

At the concert, Williams performed two acoustic songs: a cover of Failure’s ‘Daylight’ and Björk‘s ‘All Is Full of Love’. To make the performances even more special, she was joined by her longtime musical hero and Failure frontman Ken Andrews.

In other news, late last December, Hayley Williams teased the possibility of a string of solo shows in 2025, five years after she had originally planned them. The singer’s first solo studio album ‘Petals For Armor’ was released in May 2020 and Williams had intended to play the record live on a UK and European tour that month, before plans had to be shelved amid the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

She has since released her second solo record ‘Flowers For Vases / Descansos’ in 2021, but has yet to play a sustained run on solo shows to support either release.

Meanwhile, Finneas’s tour will continue until May, making stops across the US, Europe and the UK. Check out a full list of tour dates here and visit here to purchase US tickets and here for UK tickets.

He recently opened up about touring without his sister, Billie Eilish, for the first time, calling it “very bittersweet”.

“I only decided to do it because I knew that I couldn’t be in two places at once,” he said during an interview on Jake Shane‘s Therapuss podcast. “I can’t do my own tours and her tour at the same time, and I don’t want to prevent her from touring as much as she wants to tour.”
