Dropkick Murphys have dedicated their recent performance of ‘First Class Loser’ at the Vans Warped Tour to President Donald Trump.

This past weekend (July 27), punk veterans Dropkick Murphys played at the Vans Warped Tour stop in Long Beach, where they carved out a portion of their set to hit out at US President and convicted felon Donald Trump.

While introducing their 2017 song ‘First Class Loser’, frontman Ken Casey dedicated the track to Trump: “This next song is dedicated to a guy who wears orange makeup, shits his pants in his diapers, rapes women, touches kids. It’s called ‘First Class Loser.’”

While performing ‘First Class Loser’, the screens behind Dropkick Murphys flashed a collection of Donald Trump footage, including instances of him with Jeffrey Epstein.

The callout comes after Donald Trump and the White House have continually delayed and denied pressure from the public to release the Epstein files, despite Trump vehemently saying he would release them as soon as possible while campaigning for the presidency last year. The BBC has reported that Trump was allegedly told by Attorney General Pam Bondi in May that his name was in the Epstein files, which his team have refuted, calling it “fake news”.

Despite their long-running friendship in the 1990s and 2000s, Trump has continually denied ever visiting Epstein’s Caribbean islands. Trump’s former ally Elon Musk has also alleged that Trump is in the files.

This isn’t the first time that Dropkick Murphys have taken shots at Trump or his supporters. Earlier this year, frontman Ken Casey confronted a Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat-wearing fan at a show in Boston.

“If you’re in a room full of people and you want to know who’s in a cult…They been holding up a fucking hat the whole night to represent a president,” he said from the stage. “This is America! There’s no kings here!” He continued: “Do you mind sir, we’re going to play a song about our grandparents and people who fought Nazis in the war…so if you could just shut the fuck up for five minutes.”

Casey later addressed the interaction on a podcast: “I’m really not looking to stop the show and turn it into a political rally. But you know I do have to call out the hypocrisy when I see it, especially if it’s being put in my face.”
