Watch Deftones debut more ‘Private Music’ songs and play ‘White Pony’ rarity at Día De Los Deftones 2025

Deftones have performed a number of ‘Private Music’ songs for the first time at their Día De Los Deftones festival this past weekend – watch footage of the performances below.

On Saturday (November 1), the band headlined their sixth annual festival, which also featured performances from the likes of 2hollis, Clipse, Deafheaven, Rico Nasty and more.

To close out the festival, Deftones performed a stacked 21-track set that included a number of live debuts from their latest album ‘Private Music’, as well as a rarity from ‘White Pony’ that they haven’t performed since 2019.

They kicked off their set with ‘My Mind Is A Mountain’ and a live debut of ‘Locked Club’. Later on in the set, they also performed ‘Souvenir’, ‘Cut Hands’ and ‘I Think About You All The Time’ from ‘Private Music’ live for the first time.

Elsewhere during the set, they also performed the ‘White Pony’ deep cut ‘Street Carp’ live for the first time since 2019.

Deftones’ Día De Los Deftones 2025 setlist was:

‘my mind is a mountain’
‘locked club’ (live debut)
‘ecdysis’
‘Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)’
‘My Own Summer (Shove It)’
‘Rocket Skates’
‘Sextape’
‘Ceremony’
‘Genesis’
‘Entombed’
‘Hole in the Earth’
‘Rosemary’
‘Street Carp’ (first time since 2019)
‘Change (In the House of Flies)’
‘infinite source’
‘souvenir’ (live debut)
‘cut hands’ (live debut)
‘milk of the madonna’
‘i think about you all the time’ (live debut)
‘Engine No. 9’
‘7 Words’

In a glowing five-star review of ‘Private Music’, NME‘s Andrew Trendell wrote: “Very much a whole journey through a full-bodied and expansive fever dream, but this time somehow spiritual, intimate and direct, Deftones’ 10th album is a gift for fans old, new, and certainly finding them in the very distant future. Their peers can’t touch them.”

Deftones are set to head out on a UK and European headline tour early next year. The upcoming run of shows features a performance at The O2 in London, as well as stops in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin and Cardiff. Find any remaining tickets here.
