The pop star was joined by a handful of the artists featured on the ‘Brat‘ remix album, ‘Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat‘. Ahead of the set, fans had speculated Eilish would be among them after she posted a ‘Brat’ green Instagram story the day before.

Troye, who had joined her on last year’s US-only joint ‘SWEAT’ tour, was the first guest of the night, taking on ‘Talk Talk’ with her. The second surprise guest was Lorde, who came out to perform their ‘Girl, so confusing’ remix, with Charli seemingly passing the torch and heralding “Lorde summer 2025”.

Eilish was the final surprise addition to the set, which largely comprised of ‘Brat’ tracks,  coming out for ‘Guess‘. Their remix of the track was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at this year’s Grammys, with the accompanying music video seeing over 10,000 pairs of pants donated to charity.

Charli XCX’s Coachella 2025 setlist was:

‘365’
‘360’
‘Von Dutch’
‘Club Classics’
‘Unlock It’
‘Talk Talk’ (with Troye Sivan)
‘I Might Say Something Stupid’
‘Apple’
‘Girl, So Confusing’ (with Lorde)
‘Everything is Romantic’
‘Sympathy is a Knife’
‘Guess’ (with Billie Eilish)
‘365’
‘Track 10’
‘I Love It’

As the show drew to a close, words in familiar ‘Brat’ font popped up on giant screens on the side of the stage, reading: “Thank you so much Coachella. Does this mean that brat summer is finally over????? … Idk? … Maybe? … yeah cuz duh it was already over like last year. … wait… was it? … NO???… I don’t know who I am if it’s over??? FUCKKKKK…. Wait… I remembered…I’m Charli XCX… and honestly… I just want this moment to last forever…”

As the lights went down, the screen flashed: “PLEASE DON’T LET IT BE OVER.”

Elsewhere this weekend, Lady Gaga performed a theatrical five-act set, A. G. Cook brought out Danny Brown, performing a host of tracks before remixing Charli XCX’s ‘Party 4 U’.

Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong also joined The Go-Go‘s on stage for a performance of their 1984 hit single ‘Head Over Heels’ and there was controversy during Kneecap‘s set after they led an anti-Margaret Thatcher chant, with fans reporting the online stream had cut out shortly after.

YouTube will be livestreaming the festival via the Coachella YouTube channel. Last year’s edition of the festival was headlined by Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler, The Creator and also saw the return of No Doubt and more.
