The singer’s set last week saw her joined by a handful of the artists featured on the ‘Brat‘ remix album, ‘Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat‘, with Lorde, Troye Sivan, and Billie Eilish surprising the audience.

Upon her return to the festival last night (April 19), Charli brought out Rae for a live rendition of their remix of ‘Von Dutch’, which also featured A.G. Cook. The remix’s updated verses saw Charli trade lines with Rae as they sing: “I’m just living that life / While you’re sittin’ in your dad’s basement / Bet you’re disappointed that I’m shinin’”.

It comes after Rae announced her album release date at the festival last weekend during Arca‘s set. Her currently untitled debut EP will be released June 6.

Later, as the set drew to a close, Charli seemed to pass the torch from the ‘Brat’ summer of 2024 to a host of other artists, with the screen behind her declaring it a Lorde, Ethel Cain, Haim, Rosalía, Turnstile, Kali Uchis, PinkPantheress, Pulp, Perfume Genius and Caroline Polacheck summer, among others, instead.

It followed last week’s messaging, which read: “Thank you so much Coachella. Does this mean that brat summer is finally over????? … Idk? … Maybe? … yeah cuz duh it was already over like last year. … wait… was it? … NO???… I don’t know who I am if it’s over??? FUCKKKKK…. Wait… I remembered…I’m Charli XCX… and honestly… I just want this moment to last forever…”

As the lights went down, the screen flashed: “PLEASE DON’T LET IT BE OVER.”

In other Coachella weekend two news, A.G. Cook brought out Kesha as a guest for ‘Yippee Ki Yay’ and Lady Gaga suffered technical issues, but used the mishap to joke with fans about singing live.

Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong also came out in a ‘Brat’ hat during their headline slot, seemingly squashing rumours of tensions between them and Charli after their fans warred on social media.

Elsewhere, Kneecap lead a “free Palestine” chant during their set, after the treir pro-Palestine messaging was reportedly cut from the weekend one livestream.

Other artists on the bill include Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, with solo performances coming from BLACKPINK‘s Lisa and Jennie, Benson Boone, the original Misfits, Zedd, The Prodigy, Beabadoobee, Clairo, Enhypen and more.

YouTube will be livestreaming the festival via the Coachella YouTube channel. Check back here to see our latest Coachella updates.
