In a video Bunnie XO posted on socials, Jelly Roll is seen backstage listening to “Cowgirls” and memorizing the lyrics, while she offers support as he sings along to the song.

She captioned the video, “When your hubby doesn’t kno [sic] the words of the song he’s about to sing, so you help him so he crushes it when he gets out there w/ Morgan.”

“Cowgirls” is Wallen’s Billboard Country Airplay chart-topping hit with singer-songwriter Ernest. With Ernest absent that evening, Wallen had some help from Jelly Roll, who performed the song’s second verse and joined Wallen on the chorus.

Though Jelly Roll is seen briefly stumbling over a couple of the lyrics during the rehearsal moment, he comes back strong on the song’s hook, singing “long live cowgirls” directly to Bunnie XO.

Jelly Roll commented on Bunnie XO’s video, saying, “It’s all a product of being in love.” The end of the video reveals that the support served him well, showing performance footage of Jelly Roll and Wallen tearing up the song onstage with ease.

Wallen is known for his walk-out videos that showcase the singer-songwriter getting hyped up for his performances each night as he enters the stadium. Bunnie XO recently had a spotlighting moment of her own, sharing a TikTok clip of her own walk-out moment before one of Jelly Roll’s performances, with the walkout music for the clip being Wallen’s “Broadway Girls.”
