Charli’s North American arena tour came to an end at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn last night (May 5) after four nights at the venue. To mark the final show, Rosé was selected as the audience member to do the viral TikTok dance to ‘Apple’.

The dance was created by influencer Kelley Heyer, and has become a staple part of both the ‘Brat’ tour and the previous ‘Sweat’ tour with Troye Sivan, where each night members of the crowd are selected to perform the dance on the arena’s big screen.

Many celebrities have also given it a go, including Dave Grohl, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Joe Jonas, Stephen Colbert and Anthony Ramos, and Charli’s fiancé, The 1975‘s drummer George Daniel.

Check out Rosé’s take on the choreography below.

Despite the viral success of ‘Apple’, Charli revealed last year that the song was “nearly” axed from the album entirely.

In April, it was reported that Heyer was suing Roblox over their use of the dance in an official Charli XCX update for its fashion-focused mini-game Dress To Impress.

Now her US tour has wrapped up, Charli has curated her own day at London’s Lido Festival and is set to play two outdoor shows in Belfast and Dublin, as well as a headline set at Primavera Sound. She is also lined-up to play at Glastonbury 2025 and has been confirmed as the first headliner for next year’s Parklife. Visit here for tickets to all upcoming shows.

After dominating the cultural conversation for almost a year, during her Coachella performance earlier this month, Charli XCX seemed to finally declare the ‘Brat’ era over, with the giant screen behind her on stage reading: “maybe it’s time for a different kind of summer?,” before listing the artists and directors primed to take over this year.

Most recently, Charli has revealed that she’s unsure if she’ll really put to an end to her acclaimed ‘Brat’ era: “I don’t know. Um, but it got me thinking about it is really hard to let go of ‘Brat,’ and let go of this thing that is so inherently me, and become my entire life… I just kind of want it to keep going.”

As for Rosé, it was recently announced that she’ll be releasing a solo track for the soundtrack of the upcoming F1 movie.  It will mark her first since releasing her solo album ‘rosie’ in December.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK are about to reunite for a 2025 tour taking place at stadiums in the UK, North America, Europe and Asia. The final date of the tour will be held at Wembley Stadium in London, and will mark a huge milestone for the four-piece as they become the first-ever K-pop girl group to headline the venue – visit here for any remaining UK tickets and here for international shows.

Ahead of the shows, her bandmate Lisa teased that new music from the group is “coming soon”.
