Watch BADVILLAIN’s mysterious teaser for comeback single ‘Thriller’

BADVILLAIN are gearing up for their next era – see what the K-pop group are teasing below.

Earlier this week, the Big Planet Made group began teasing an upcoming single, ‘Thriller’. The single, is due for release on September 15 – it is currently unknown if the song will be part of a larger project, or if it will be a standalone single.

Check out the ‘Thriller’ teaser below.

‘Thriller’ will mark MADVILLAIN’s first release of the year – their last release was the November 2024 single ‘ZOOM’. The group made their debut last year, and released their first single album in June 2024.

Comprising members Emma, Vin, Chloe Young, HU’E, Yunseo, Kelly and INA, the septet have become the second girl group under BPM Entertainment, after it launched the trio VIVIZ – formed by three former GFRIEND members – in 2022. The company is also home to acts like Taemin of SHINee, singer-songwriter Lee Mu-jin and ex-NU’EST’s Ren.

BADVILLAIN were included in this year’s NME 100 list, which spotlights bright and promising, fast-rising talents across the globe. NME‘s Puah Ziwei wrote of the group: “Dynamic and future-facing, BADVILLAIN are setting themselves apart in the crowded K-pop girl group field by taking passé girl crush concepts and making them new again. But what really takes the septet to the next level is their commanding stage presence, led by Street Woman Fighter standout Emma and 1MILLION dancer Chloe Young.”
