Watch Bad Bunny’s Sweet Reaction to a ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’ TikTok Trend

People are using the title track from the Puerto Rican musician’s new album to commemorate their memories

Bad Bunny is crying tears of joy. The Latin star posted a short TikTok video of himself tearing up with the simple caption “tik tok” in response to a new trend on the app, which is centered around the title track from his new album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.

TikTok users have started using a snippet of “DTMF” over carousels, video montages, and collages of their pictures and memories. It’s a touching way to honor the song’s theme about learning to live in the moment and commemorating the good times when they happen. The specific sound uses the song’s chorus, where Bad bunny sings “Debí tirar más foto’ de cuando te tuve/Debí darte más beso y abrazo las veces que pude,” (“I should have taken more photos when I had you/I should have given you more kisses and hugs when I had the chance”) over a lively, plena-inspired beat.

Bad Bunny hasn’t posted much on TikTok. His profile only has two other videos from the end of December, when he was promoting the new LP. While his TikTok upload might be a rare occurrence, apparently Bad Bunny’s tearful reaction to the “DTMF” trend is not. He wrote on X, “He llorao como 17 veces con los tik toks del trend de DtMF,” [sic] which translates to “I’ve cried like 17 times to the DtMF trend Tik Toks.”

The Debí Tirar Más Fotos-inspired TikTok trend is just the latest celebration of Bad Bunny’s sixth album. Since its release on Jan. 5, the day before Three Kings Day, Debí Tirar Más Fotos has been heralded amongst fans and critics. On the album, Bad Bunny reconnected with his Puerto Rican roots, and highlighted the island’s various genres and history.
