Watch Bad Bunny chicken out of ‘Hot Ones’: “I’m worried about my colon”

Bad Bunny recently appeared as a guest on Hot Ones and chickened out of the hot wings challenge, claiming that he is looking out for his colon.

The Latin superstar was the latest guest as part of First We Feast‘s series that sees celebrities interviewed whilst tackling a number of chicken wings covered in increasingly spicy hot sauces.

“It’s a problem because they’re so fucking spicy but it’s really good,” Bad Bunny – real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – told Hot Ones host Sean Evans while starting to dive into the wings. “I should’ve asked my doctor before this shit.”

The ‘Mia’ singer made sure to vocalise his concerns about the effect the spicy wings would have on him, saying: “I’m worried about my colon,” before adding: “I think I will be at the bathroom the whole trip from here to Puerto Rico.”

To help cool down and calm Bentio’s face and mouth, Evans offered the singer ice cream to which Benito immediately lights up and responds with: “That sounds nice!” After taking a bite, the singer commented, “Ice cream! Is this coconut? Best idea ever.”

After the ice cream break, the ‘NUEVAYoL’ singer decided to tap out and call it quits right after the famously tough Da Bomb hot sauce wing. Though he was not able to make it through the wings, he did proceed to answer questions.

Benito took the time to open up about his excitement for his fans’ reaction to his track ‘Baile Inolvidable’ from his latest album ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’. He also spoke to Evans about the press run for the album and how much he enjoyed it.

“With this album, I know how special it is. I came with all these guys from Puerto Rico. Los Pleneros de la Cresta, with all the musicians that played in ‘Baile Inolvidable’ and ‘La Mudanza,’ and it’s a whole different experience,” Bad Bunny said. “It’s not only about me it’s about all of us… I’m bringing out a little bit of Puerto Rico to all these places.”

At the end of the interview, Evans asked Bad Bunny what he hopes his legacy will be. “That question always sounds so profound. I don’t look at things in that way,” he said.

He continued: “I’ve always wanted to say I never changed. I’m still the kid who dreamt of shining and being known around the world… I want [my legacy] to be being from Puerto Rico, from Vega Baja. And that’s how I was able to get to places I never imagined.”

In a five-star review of ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’, NME shared: “On ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’, Benito revolutionizes Puerto Rico’s folk music and reclaims his reggaeton throne with game-changing fusions that are authentic to him and what he believes in.”

In other news, Bad Bunny recently announced a new 21-show residency in his hometown of Puerto Rico. Logan Paul also recently revealed that he wants to take on Bad Bunny in a WWE match.
