The rapper made the announcement yesterday (February 26) on social media – fans have since responded with pleas to tour other parts of the region, particularly in Southeast Asia, where he has yet to perform.

Tyler will launch the tour in Tokyo on September 9, followed by dates in Seoul, Manila and Bangkok. Through the Asia trek, Tyler will be supported by former NME Cover stars Paris Texas.

Full event and ticket details have yet to be announced, but tickets will go on sale for Seoul, Manila and Bangkok on March 5 at 12pm local time. Tickets for his Tokyo show will then go on sale on March 20 at 6pm local time. All ticket details will be made available via Tyler’s official tour website.

The dates for Tyler, The Creator’s ‘Chromakopia’ Asia tour are:

SEPTEMBER
09 – Tokyo, Japan
13 – Seoul, South Korea
16 – Bangkok, Thailand
20 – Manila, the Philippines

The ‘Chromakopia’ Asia dates are part of his ever-expanding world tour this year, which also sees Lil Yachty join as a support act on select dates. The tour launched earlier this month in the US.

‘Chromakopia’, which landed at number 44 on NME‘s best albums of 2024 list, is the eighth studio album by the former Odd Future member. The rapper is in contention for International Artist of the Year at the forthcoming BRIT Awards 2025, which takes place this Saturday (March 1).

In January, Iggy Pop hailed Tyler as a “genuine, old-school talent” in a recent episode of his BBC 6 Music radio show Iggy Confidential.

“I’ve always liked Tyler. I did a day’s work with him once, and he would do what it takes to get attention,” he said. “He’s also a genuine all-around song, dance, writer talent — a genuine old-school talent with a new-school approach.”
