“Everybody’s coming in,” the athlete’s brother Jason Kelce shared about the upcoming match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans this weekend
Super Bowl LIX will touch down in New Orleans on Sunday with a match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs scored a victory in last year’s Super Bowl with Taylor Swift cheering on tight end Travis Kelce from the stands and celebrated with an embrace on the field afterward. There’s a chance the scene will be replicated this weekend, though it’s still anyone’s game.
“Yeah, I think everybody’s coming in,” the athlete’s brother Jason Kelce told People. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends.” Last year, Swift attended the Super Bowl with Blake Lively and Ice Spice.
Throughout the regular season, the musician attended multiple games including the AFC Championship match in Kansas City that solidified the team’s place in Super Bowl LIX. Since going public with their relationship in 2023, Kelce and Swift have supported each other at games and concerts alike.
“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in. There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once,” Swift told Time in 2023. “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
Super Bowl LIX will take place on Feb. 9 at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome. Kendrick Lamar is set to perform during the halftime show with special guest SZA.
