When Travis Kelce heard Taylor Swift sing “I wanna find you in the crowd just to hide from you,” he took that pretty literally.
During Swift’s Indianapolis stop on her globe-spanning Eras Tour on Saturday (Nov. 2), eagle-eyed fans spotted the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in the VIP section of the Lucas Oil Stadium, alongside Swift’s mom. In a fan-captured TikTok, Kelce was seen dancing along with his girlfriend’s mom to the Tortured Poets Department track “So High School,” with the fan filming offering an audible “oh my god” at his moves.
Later on in the show, Swift reprised an ad-libbed lyric during her performance of Midnights’ “Karma,” belting that “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” as she has a number of times throughout her Eras Tour run.
Back in a November 2023 episode of his podcast New Heights, Kelce talked about his reaction to the first time Swift swapped in the lyric. “Yeah no I had no clue [she would do that],” he said at the time. “Well, I might have had a little bit of a clue, but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, it still shocked me.”
The sweet dance came hours after a heated exchange involving Travis’ brother and New Heights co-host Jason Kelce on Saturday, where the retired Philadelphia Eagles player was accosted by a heckler on the street calling his brother a homophobic slur for dating Swift. In footage that has since gone viral, Jason approached the bystander, grabbed his phone, threw it on the ground and repeated the slur back to them.
